Virtual Driving Simulation for Pedal Error Study

This paper is about the development of a virtual driving simulation for pedal error study among Malaysian drivers. The project in collaboration with Institute Road Safety (MIROS) and New Car Assessment Program Southeast Asia (ASEAN NCAP) research grant. Instead conducting naturalistic test, will be used current simulator developed this project. Therefore, aim to develop which contain some emergency braking situations, determine foot placement on (using video observation) measure total pressure pedals during normal situation focused automatic transmission car by drivers who aged around 20 50 years old that have minimum two experience.
